Asus could launch its next-gen flagship Smartphone Asus Zenfone 3 and Zenfone 3 Deluxe on May 30th last month the company had launched 2nd Gen Asus Genfone 5.0 LTE now the company has launched its latest Smartphone Asus Zenfone Go TV in Taiwan The main highlight of this devices, it comes with built-in Sony IC (SMT-EW100) Digital TV tuner with this feature users can watch the live TV streaming of free (Only some Channels are free) without the need of Internet connection in India only Doordarshan channel available using this technology apart from that the devices sports entry-level specifications.
Specs wise the device comes with 5.5 inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280×720 Pixels and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.The handset is powered by Quad-Core 1.4GHz processor based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8928 chipset along with Adreno 305 GPU.The device equipped with 2GB of RAM and will be available in 16GB and 32GB storage variant which can be further expanded via microSD card up to 64GB.
In terms of camera, it features 13 Megapixels rear camera with Aperture F 2.0 and Dual LED flash.It also supports 5 Megapixels front-facing camera with Autofocus and Aperture F2.0.The Dual SIM Smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Zen UI 2.0.On the connectivity front, the device supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS and a micro USB v2.0 port.The device measures 151 x 76.9 x 10.7 mm and weighs around 160 Grams.
The Asus Zenfone Go TV available in Red, Black, White, Gold, Blue, Gray, and Pink color options with a price tag of TWD 5490 (Around USD $170/INR 11,250) for 16GB storage and the 16GB variant is only available to purchase in White color.Asus didn’t revel anything about its global roll out.
