At mobile world congress 2016 ZTE has unveiled two new smartphones the Blade V7 and Blade V7 Lite now the company has announced another new handset for its Blade series dubbed as ZTE Blade D2.The ZTE Blade D2 is entry level Smartphone and the highlight of the handset, its huge battery with 4,000 mAh capacity.

Right now ZTE Blade D2 has launched in Thailand but the launching of the device for other markets has not been specified although the device is also listed on company’s official website in Vietnam so it’s pretty certain that it will also launch soon in other markets.

Specifications wise ZTE Blade D2 comes with 5.0 inches HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS, LCD display and powered by Quad-Core 1.0 GHz processor built in 64-bit Media Tek MT6735P chipset along with Mali-T720 GPU for graphics.The device has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via microSD card up to 64GB.

In terms of the camera the Thailand version of handset equipped with 8 megapixels rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and 1080p video recording and 5 megapixels front camera while the Vietnam version of the device listed with 5-megapixels rear camera and 2 megapixels front camera.

On the connectivity front the supports 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS and micro USB version 2.0.The handset runs on Android 5.0 lollipop operating system and powered by 4,000 mAh long lasting battery.The device measures 145×71.5×8.9 mm and weighs in at 155 grams.

The ZTE Blade D2 comes in White and Black color variants with a price tag of VND 2.690.000 which is equivalent to $120 or INR 8,000.
