Xiaomi has announced a new Smartphone in China dubbed as Xiaomi Redmi 3s it has full metal magnesium alloy unibody design and features PDAF (Phase detection Autofocus) for a quick focus in just 0.1 seconds.
Specs wise the handset comes with 5.0 inch (1280 x 720 Pixels) HD IPS display and runs on Octa-Core (4×1.2 GHz ARM Cortex A-53 + 4×1.5 GHz ARM Cortex A-53) processor based on 64-Bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset along with Adreno 505 GPU.The device equipped with 2GB LPDDR3 RAM with 16GB (eMMC 5.0) internal memory or 3GB LPDDR3 RAM with 32GB (eMMC 5.1) internal storage which can further be increased up to 128GB.
The Hybrid Dual SIM (Micro + Nano/microSD) Smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with MIUI 7.In terms of camera, it has 13 Megapixels rear camera with PDAF, LED Flash, Aperture F/2.0, 1080p HD video recording and 5 Megapixels front camera with Aperture F/2,2, 1080p video recording.On the connectivity front, the device supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS+GLONASS and more options.The device measures 139.3 x 69.6 x 8.5 mm, weight 144 grams and powered by 4,100 mAh battery.
The Xiaomi Redmi 3s available in Dark Grey, Silver and Gold color options with a price tag of Yuan 6,99 (Around USD $106/INR 7,120) for 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM Model and Yuan 8,99 (Around USD $136/INR 9,165) for 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM version.Although the company didn’t announce its global release but both these variants will go on sale from June 16th in China through mi.com.
