Next week on August 13 2015 Xiaomi will launch MIUI 7 skin based on Android operating system ,we already hear that Redmi Note 2 might debut at the same event but there has been lot of rumors that Xiaomi may launch another device Xiaomi Redmi 2 prime which was briefly listed in Amazon India and quickly remove from that.
The Redmi 2 Prime is nothing but a little upgraded version of previous one.This version is already available in China with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built in storage which is double than 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage found on previous one regular Redmi2 , Xiaomi will offer it as a newly named phone in India.
The rest of the Redmi 2 Prime Specification remain same , so you will get same MIUI 6 skin based operating sytetem on 4.4 kitkat version,a 4.7 inches display with resolution of 1280×780 pixels,8 MP rear camera with LED flash ,a 2 MP front camera , 2200 mAh Li-Poly Battery,Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset powered with 1.2GHz Quad Core CPU and a MicroSD card Support Up to 32GB for external memory.
