Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) Specs

Samsung has announced its latest 4G LTE Tablet for the new Galaxy Tab A(2016) Series and known as Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) after releasing the Galaxy Tab A 7.0 (2016).The 4G LTE Tablet comes with Samsung’s Signature home button and menu button located below the display it also features Kids Mode 4.0 using it parents can set the apps reliable for kids use and can also set the time period Kids can use the tablet.

Specs wise the slate comes with 10.1 inches WUXGA TFT PLS Display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 Pixels and aspect ratio of 16:10.The device is powered by Octa-Core 1.6 GHz processor based on Samsung’s in-house Exynos 7870 chipset.The tablet equipped with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be further expandable via MicroSD card up to 200GB.

The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.In terms of camera, it has 8 Megapixels autofocus rear camera with LED flash Aperture F/1.9 and also supports 2 Megapixels front-facing camera with Aperture F/2.2.On the connectivity front the device supports 4G LTE/3G HSPA+ (optional), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz + 5.0GHz), Bluetooth v4.2 and GPS+GLONASS/Beidou options with all other basic connectivity.The tablet measures 155.3 x 254.2 x 8.2 mm and weighs around 525 Grams and powered by 7,300 mAh long lasting battery.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) comes in Black and White color options with a price tag of Euro 289 (Around USD $330 / INR 21,999) for the Wi-Fi variant while the LTE variant is priced at Euro 349 (Around USD $398/ INR 26,550).The tablet will be available in Germany and few other countries in Europe zone from Next month i.e June 2016.
