South-Korean electronics giant Samsung has announced its latest rugged android Smartphone Galaxy S7 Active for AT&T in the USA.The device comes with shatter-resistant, IP68 rating for dust and water resistant and has also passed U.S Military Standard (MIL-STD).Specs wise the device comes with 5.1 inches Quad-HD (2560 x 1440 Pixels) Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and powered by Quad-Core processor based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset along with Adreno 530 GPU.
The device equipped with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be further expandable via microSD card up to 200GB.The device runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS.In terms of camera, it has 12 Megapixels rear camera with LED flash and 5 Megapixels front-facing camera.On the connectivity front, the device supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual-Band), Bluetooth v4.2, GPS with GLONASS, USB v2.0 , NFC and Fingerprint sensor.
The device measures 148.8 x 75 x 9.9 mm and weighs around 185 Grams and powered by 4,000 mAh long lasting battery.The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active available in Sandy Gold, Camo Green, and Titanium Gray color options and will be available to purchase through AT&T from June 10th.If you live in the USA, you can purchase the handset through contract at USD $26.50 per month for 30 months or $33.13 for 24 months and $795 without a contract.
