The Electronics giant Samsung which also a world leader in advanced semiconductor technology has introduced a new processor for its Exynos 7 Octa Processor line-up.The Exynos Octa 7870 is built on Samsung’s advanced 14nm (nanometer) FinFET process technology the new processor is made for next-generation mid-range Smartphone and other devices.The main feature of Exynos 7 Octa 7870 it’s a new generation processor which consume less power and increase the performance of the device in compare of its earlier generation.

The Exynos 7 octa 7870 equipped with eight 1.6GHz Cortex-A53 cores and 4G LTE 2CA modem with cat 6 which supports 300 Mbps downlink speed.The chipset supports maximum 1920×1080 pixels display resolutions and 1080 pixels video playback@60fps (frame per second).The Image Signal Processor (ISP) supports up to 16 megapixels sensor for both front and rear cameras apart from that it also integrated GNSS solution for more accurate and location based service which delivers fast time to first fix (TTFF) feature.It will come in the market during the first Quarter of 2016 and if we believe the rumors that it will power the upcoming Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) then we can expect this device very soon as well with new Exynos processor.
