Popular Smartphone Processor maker Qualcomm has announced three chipsets yesterday, Snapdragon 625 which is Qualcomm’s mid-range chipset, Snapdragon 435 and 425 made for faster LTE connectivity Here we will see all the specifications of these chipsets.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Chipset

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 (MSM8953) SoC has 2.0GHz Octa-Core Cortex A53 processor use 14nm FinFET technology and supports LPDDR3 memory at 933 MHz for graphics it has equipped with Adreno 506 GPU and integrated X9 LTE with Global mode connectivity options such as LTE FDD, LTE TDD, WCDMA (DC-HSPA+, DC-HSUPA), CDMA1x, EV-DO, TD-SCDMA, and GSM/EDGE.

In terms of Data it supports LTE Cat 7 which means download speed up to 300 Mbps and 150 Mbps uploads it can handel. It can supports devices up to 1920×1080 pixels resolutions at 60fps or 1080p at 30 fps that is the only limited factor of this chipset.

In terms of camera 625 chipset capable to support  4K video recording and up to 24 Megapixels rear camera and 13 Megapixels front camera along with Dual Image sensor processor (ISP)

It also uses the Fluence noise cancellation technology and supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology and company also mention that 625 chipset uses 35% less power consumption compare to Snapdragon 617 predecessor.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 Chipset

The Snapdragon 435 (MSM8940) SoC  is the successor of last year’s Snapdragon 430 chipset.It has 1.4GHz Octa-Core Cortex A53 processor built on the old 28nm LP process technology and supports LPDDR3 memory at 800MHz for graphics it has equipped with Adreno 505 GPU and integrated X8  LTE with Global Mode connectivity options such as LTE FDD, LTE TDD, WCDMA (DC-HSPA+, DC-HSUPA), CDMA1x, EV-DO, TD-SCDMA, and GSM/EDGE.

In terms of data it also supports Cat7 which provides maximum 300 Mbps download and 100 Mbps uploads.It can supports devices up to 1920×1080 pixels resolutions at 60fps or 1080p@30fps.

If we talk about its maximum camera supports then 435 chipset capable to support 1080p videos recording and up to 21 megapixels rear camera along with Dual Image sensor processor (ISP).

It also supports noise cancellation and Qualcomm Quick charge 3.0 technology similar to Snapdragon 625 chipset for low power consumption which will make battery more durable.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 Chipset

The Snapdragon 425 (MSM8917) SoC is the successor of Snapdragon 410 and 412 and it provides faster connections.it has 1.4GHz Quad-Core ARM cortex A53 processor built on the old 28nm process technology and supports LPDDRE memory at 667MHz for graphics it has equipped with the same old Adreno 308 GPU and integrated X6 LTE with Global Mode with connectivity options such as LTE FDD, LTE TDD, WCDMA (DC-HSPA+, DC-HSUPA), CDMA1x, EV-DO, TD-SCDMA, and GSM/EDGE.In terms of data it also supports CAT 7 category similar to 435 chipset.

In terms of camera and display it supports maximum 16 megapixels camera along with Dual Image sensor processor (ISP) and supports 720×1280 pixels display with 60fps. And rest of the specifications are similar to 435 chipset.

We will see these chipsets in commercial devices in the second half of this year.
