Fow last few months we are hearing rumors about Oppo’s next flagship device now the Chinese camera smartphone company Oppo officially announced its two upcoming high-end camera focused smartphone known as Oppo R9 and Oppo R9 Plus.
Oppo R9 Specifications
Specs wise the Oppo R9 comes with 5.5 inches Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) AMOLED display and powered by Octa-Core 2.0 GHz processor based on Media Tek Helio X10 chipset along with 700 MHz Mali T860MP2 GPU for graphics.It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal memory which can be further via microSD card up to 128GB.
In terms of camera, it has 16 Megapixels rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 5P lens, LED flash, 80.6-degree wide-angle lens, 4K video recording and 13 Megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture and 78.1-degree wide angle lens.
If we talk about connectivity options of handset then it supports 2G, 3G, 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual Band, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS.The device runs on Android 5.1 lollipop operating system based on Color OS 3.0 UI and supports Hybrid Dual SIM (Nano + Nano/microSD).The device is powered by 2,850 mAh battery with VOOC flash Charge.
The Oppo R9 come in Gold and Rose Gold color options with a price tag of Yuan 2799 (USD 430 / INR 28754) and now available for order and will go on sale in China starting from March 24.
Oppo R9 Plus Specifications
Specs wise the Oppo R9 comes with 6.0 inches Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) AMOLED display and powered by Octa-Core 1.8 GHz processor based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset along with Qualcomm Adreno 510 GPU for graphics.It has 4GB of RAM and comes in 64GB and 128GB storage variants, expandable memory up to 128GB via microSD card.
In terms of camera, it has 16 Megapixels rear camera with Sony IMX298, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, 5P Lens, LED flash and 16 Megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture, 78.1-degree wide angle lens and comes with a fingerprint sensor.The handset runs on Android 5.1 lollipop OS based on Color OS 3.0 UI and supports Hybrid Dual SIM (Nano +Nano/microSD).In terms of connectivity, it supports 2G, 3G, 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual Band, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS and powered by 4,120 mAh long lasting battery with VOOC flash charge.
The Oppo R9 Plus come in Gold and Rose Gold color variants is priced at Yuan 3299 (USD 410 / INR 33860) and will go on sale in China from April 12th.
The global release of both devices is not yet announced by the company.
