Oppo has launched a new handset for its A series dubbed as Oppo A59 in China.The device comes with a full metal unibody design with Zirconium metal finish and also has Fingerprint sensor on the front side of the device which can unlock the device in just 0.22 seconds.
Specs wise the device comes with 5.5 inch HD (720 x 1280 Pixels) IPS 2.5D curved glass Display with 1000:1 contrast ratio.The handset runs on Octa-Core 1.5 GHz processor based on MediaTek MT6750 64-Bit chipset along with Mali-T860 GPU.The device equipped with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further expandable via microSD card up to 128GB.The Hybrid Dual SIM (Nano + Nano/microSD) device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Color 3.0 UI.
In terms of camera, it has 13 Megapixels rear camera with LED flash, PDAF, Aperture F/2.0 and 8 Megapixels front camera with Aperture F/2.2, 1.4um pixels.On the connectivity front, the device supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz + 5.0GHz), Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, USB with OTG and Fingerprint sensor support.The device measures 154.5 x 76 x 7.38 mm, weighs 160 grams and powered by 3,075 mAh non-removable battery.
The Oppo A59 available in Rose Gold and Gold color options with a price tag of Yuan 1,799 (Around USD $274 / INR 18,320) and the device is now available for pre-order from official Oppo online store in China and shipping will start on June 18th, 2016.
