The phone is much more than its design, is equipped with amazing full view display with medium notch on the top and small chin on the bottom, Nokia has equipped amazing speaker on the bottom where you will observe detail sound, I also play song on full volume, but the quality is same, it gives amazing sound output, but there should be a speaker on the top as well so that we can get more detailed sound.

The Nokia X6 looks more like a traditional design handset, it measures a 147.2 mm x 71 mm x 8 mm and very lightweight design, only 151 grams, for design point of view it’s perfect size in terms of holding into single hand but it’s too much slippery than my expectation, so there is must requirement of back case or any grip cover, this slipperiness all because of back glass design.

Design and Build Quality:
As we all know Nokia X7 (Nokia 6.1 Plus) back design made with glass finish, where the other brands such as Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro made with metal body design, the catchy design blow your eyes, it’s we designed smartphone, but little bit slippery from the back side, & the best part of Nokia X6 is it fitted into my hands on the front side it has big full view display.
Display:
Nokia X6 (Nokia 6.1 Plus) 5.8-inch notch screen looks premium, they have made front design catchy, it’s IPS, LCD, FHD+ with 2280 x 1080 pixels, 19:9 aspect ratio, 432PPI pixel density, and 82% screen to body ratio, even I have seen so many useful settings for display, brightness level, night light, adaptive brightness where it optimize brightness level for available light, wallpaper, and so many advanced settings as well such as screen saver, display size, font, ambient display, tap to wake device using double click.
The given notch on the top can be easily removed on the global version, it gives a device a premium look, and keep it up to date with the market trend. Even more I have even test Nokia X6 screen and brightness level on day sunlight, I keep it 40% it does not show me clear fonts and icons, but when I set adaptive brightness it takes me to 96%, I could say it’s average display, and you can easily work and watch videos with 65% brightness level, with this given price range smartphone display perform average, they can make it better, but it’s good.
Additionally, the best part is you can use a 5.8-inch display with single hands, & glass back design impose you to select TPU case on the back, and i am expecting gorilla glass 3 will perform well on the front, hoping that may not be crack easily.
Performance and Features:
As we all know performance totally depends on SOC, which gives processing, power, efficiency and AI capabilities, with this Nokia X6 (Nokia 6.1 Plus) phone has Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset, with octa-core 1.8 GHz Kryo 260, Adreno 509 GPU, chipset work on 14nm processing technology, this is the most popular chip from Qualcomm which is available in so many popular smartphones.
For the performance point of view, I have tested with games, high-resolution video streaming, and writing on documents the phone performing well, but slightly produce heat from backside if I do it for longer period of time, it’s all because back glass, which took little longer time to transmit heat, for all these graphics processing Adreno 509 GPU is the player.
The best device for normal usage, like, gaming, video streaming, calling, data transfer, but I feel that image processing is little slower with front camera, the phone paired with 4GB RAM, and 64GB variant and there are 32GB storage and 6GB RAM also available for the Nokia X6, I never stuck during data transfer, apps install or update, every single process work fine and the best part of Android one is you will receive Android 9.0 Pie update in future with this Nokia handset. As we all know Nokia smartphone is famous for their build quality & design, with this price range I did not see camera king from Nokia, I test both side camera rear as well as front but not found that much of great quality, rear dual camera work well in sunlight as well as normal light, but front-facing selfie camera does not perform that much of good, even the front camera took few seconds to process image. Nokia X6 (Nokia 6.1 Plus) camera comes with 16 MP f/2.0, 1.0µm, PDAF + 5 MP f/2.4, 1.12µm, depth sensor and 16 megapixels front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1.0µm pixel size.
Both camera capable to record 1080P video and rear one supports 2160p@30fps with high image processing, auto HDR, and camera aims to shoot better portrait shots especially rear one. It’s my true review I like the rear camera with the given numbers & front facing is I can say below average, there are few settings available for photos and videos as well where you use panorama mode, Live Bokeh mode, Manual setting, and beauty on / Off.
Nokia X6 camera performance is Underwhelming, with this price range you will see so many other options from global brands, brand fixes rear cameras on the middle where if they place it on another side (left/right) it gives different look from the other Nokia phones. Even when you see other brands phone they do not provide 4K video support, auto HDR mode with this price segment, and you can also check by zoom in the image, detailing are average, and both camera options including HD and full HD with 18:9 aspect ratio recording.
Battery:
It’s hard to explain every single use case, Battery life of Nokia X6 (6.1 Plus) was good but not better, we use this handset normally it gives around 8 to 10 hours contentious use with 3060mAh battery, where 2 hours of video streaming includes using 4G internet, even I have test Xiaomi Redmi note 5 pro with this handset note 5 pro gives 22% extra hours, even second time, I have also tested one more different experiment with my Nokia x6 where I test with OnePlus fast charger, it took around 52% to 87% in 16 minutes. But Nokia should improve battery capacity to around 3500mAh t 3800mAh where the phone will give 25% more backup.

Even I have check battery with Wi-Fi connection, it drops much faster than earlier, there is no lag at all, software part is well optimized, in this case, we got through our day about 9% percent left at the end, which means average battery backup. But one important suggestion from my side is that, whenever you will use Nokia X6 in daylight, where you need to set your screen brightness almost 90% level, where it sucks battery most, it drop battery very quickly, and gives you a full charge in around a 1 hour and 48 minutes, I could say average battery
Conclusion:
We cover almost all necessary features in this Nokia X6 review, where display, camera, performance, battery, design, all features we check, but we especially love back design, notch on the display, rear camera and lightweight design and when we take selfie, we did not get that much good detailing with 16MP camera, battery performance is average, at this price range we getting high-value smartphone, X6 only costing $199 with free shipping, It’s too much difficult to find phone with this price range and if you have little more money to buy smartphone with Snapdragon 636 chipset, you can also order 6GB variant for $219 which is high-end variant of Nokia X6.
