Lava has announced two camera focused smartphones known as Lava Pixel V2 and V2s both handsets are the successor of Lava Pixel V2 which was launched last year.Both the devices support Cat 4 4G LTE (VoLTE Upgradable) and powered by MediaTek’s 64-bit Quad-Core CPU.Both came with 5.0 inches HD IPS display, however, the screen of V2s protected by corning gorilla glass 3 while V2 has an Asahi glass for display protection.
Lava V2s runs on Star OS which is based on Android 5.1 lollipop OS and the V2 3GB runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow Operating system .Bothe these handsets supports Dual SIM slot with Dual standby feature.The V2 3GB is 7.6 mm thick, weighs 128 grams and it has 3GB of RAM with 16GB internal storage which can be further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.The V2s is 8 mm thick and 129 grams of weight and it has 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can also expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
In terms of camera Lava V2 3GB and V2s comes with 13 Megapixels and 8 Megapixels rear camera respectively and both of them have 8 Megapixels front camera with 84 degree wide angle lens and LED flash for selfies and video calling in low light condition both the smartphone offer HD video recording, 1.4 micron pixel size ,f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens with blue glass filter and dual LED flash for rear camera apart from that both have MagicPix software which has features like Face beauty, Multi AngleNight pro, wiMulti-AngleView,GIF maker along with video and Panorama mode.
The Lava V2 3GB is available in Royal Black, Icy White, and Champagne Gold color options and price at INR 10,750 while the Lava V2s is available in Royal Black and Icy White color options with a price tag of INR 8,750.
Apart from 4G connectivity options on devices they also include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, micro USB v2.0, OTG, and GPS.Both the devices are powered by 2,500 mAh long lasting battery.
