Alcatel has announced its latest Smartphone and successor of the Flash Plus which was launched back in 2014 the new device dubbed as Alcatel Flash Plus 2.The new handset comes with Aluminum unibody design and Fingerprint sensor located below the display and able to unlock the device in 0.5 seconds and you can also open another app to using this sensor.The device features AKM4375 chip, NXP9890 Audio Amplifier and IRD digital filter for better sound quality.
Specs wise Alcatel Flash Plus 2 comes with 5.5-inch FHD OGS Display with 1080 x1920 Pixels resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, and 160-degree viewing angle.The device is powered by Octa-Core (4×2.0GHz +4×1.0GHz) processor based on MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 chipset along with ARM Mali T860MP2 GPU with 700MHz.The Smartphone available in two variant-one with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage while the other one supports 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage both can be further expandable via microSD card up to 128GB.
The Dual SIM Smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.In terms of camera, it has 13 Megapixels rear camera with Dual-tone LED flash, OV13853 sensor, Aperture F/2.0, PDAF, 76.5-degree wide angle lens and 5P lens and also supports 5 Megapixels front camera sensor with LED flash, 1.12um pixel size, Aperture F/2.2, and 84-degree wide angle lens.On the connectivity front, the device supports 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS and other basic options.
The handset measures 152.6 x 76.4 x 8.2 mm and weighs around 157 Grams and powered by 3,000 mAh Battery with Flash charge technology which can charge the device up to 50% in Just 30 minutes.
The Alcatel Flash Plus 2 Available in Luna Silver and Venus Gold color options with a price tag of USD $160 (Around INR 10,599) for 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM and USD $190 (Around INR 12,599) for 3GB Ram and 32GB ROM variant.The handset will be available to purchase first in Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Monaco and Thailand and soon it rolls out for other countries too.
