Verizon wireless has rolled out the new update of operating system for its flagship Smartphone Motorola Droid Maxx 2 which was released six months ago in 2015 now the handset will be updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and the users will receive the software in two phases first one will carry the software version 23.44.3 and the second will carry the software version to 24.64.4.The company also listed the new features and improvements for the device at the Verizon Droid Maxx 2 Support page.

For the device new features are added like Ambient Display, Doze mode, app Standby, enhanced app permission, app links, use external memory (SD card Memory) as internal memory, Do not disturb, direct share , Moto Assist and more new features apart from that it also comes with latest android security patch update.If you want to check that whether the update is available for your handset or not then you can check that by going to setting menu then select the About phone option and tap on check for the update if the update is not available there then you should wait for the official software update prompt from Verizon.

One thing here important to note that the software update may take the time to reach all the Droid Maxx 2 devices and before downloading the software make sure that your battery charge maximum and also connect your handset to good Wi-Fi Network.
