It may be possible that we will see more than one variants of Huawei P9 this year this report was leaked by a popular leakster Even aka @evleaks via venturebeat he claims that Huawei will release four variants of its P9 series flagship smartphone.
According to that report the four variants of P9 will be known as P9, P9 Lite, P9 Max and Upgraded version of P9 which was released last year with more high-end features although the fourth variants of P9 series are unnamed yet but we assume that it will be premium handset with features including slightly bigger display with Quad HD (2560x1440pixels) resolutions, RAM and internal memory, high feature camera with second generation technology rest three models will be more budget oriented devices.

According to the report all these devices of Huawei P9 series will not be announced during upcoming MWC (Mobile World Congress) event which is scheduled for next month on 21 February as many of its rivals plan to launch their flagship devices in that event instead of that company will announce several weeks post MWC that’s why Huawei will host a separate event to release these Smartphones and we expect the announcement for these devices in March.
It is also expected that at MWC event company will reveal Surface Book like device in Barcelona next month.Last week a possible Huawei P9 Design had surfaced according to that design it will have a physical home button in its previous rumors report suggested that P9 will feature a 5.2 Inches Quad HD display with Octa-core processor built on in house Kirin 950 chipset and 6GB of RAM with battery capacity larger than 3,000 mAh.
