Taiwan based HTC has announced its latest flagship smartphone HTC 10.The device has lots of new feature as well as high configuration which makes this handset very useful.The device comes with Dual OIS and HTC says that it is the world’s first dual OIS smartphone.The device has metal body design and embedded fingerprint sensor on the home button which can unlock the device just in 0.2 seconds.
The device comes with Freestyle layout thorough which you can place stickers all over the wallpaper where each stickers represent an application.There is a new Boost+ app which includes a feature called smart boost which will automatically optimizes the handset’s memory, it also saves battery power during game play and it also has PowerBotics system which will auto detect and shuts down apps that use more power.It also has app lock functionality through which you can lock any app of your choice.For better sound experience the device has 24-bit hi-res DAC audio chip, BoomSound Speakers.
Specs wise HTC 10 comes with 5.2 inch Quad HD (1440 x 2560) Super LCD 5 Display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass and powered by Quad-Core 64-bit processor based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset along with Adreno 530 GPU.The device has 4GB of RAM and available in two storage model -32GB/64GB which can be further expanded via microSD card up to 2TB.The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating System with HTC Sense 8.0 UI.
In terms of camera it has 12 Megapixels (HTC Ultrapixel 2) camera with Dual-tone LED flash, 1.55um pixels, F/1.8 Aperture, Laser Autofocus, OIS, 4K video recording and 5 Megapixels autofocus front-facing camera with 1.34um pixels, F/1.8 Aperture, OIS, 23mm focal length, 86-degree wide angle lens.Apart from that it has HTC BoomSound, Dolby Audio, Three noise cancellation microphones and Fingerprint sensor.
On the connectivity front the device supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 and 5.0 GHz), Bluetooth v4.2, GPS with GLONASS, NFC and Type-C USB port.The handset measures 145.9 x 71.9 x 3.0 – 9.0 mm and weighs around 161 Grams.The Device is powered by 3,000 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology which can charge up to 50% in just 30 minutes and the company promises that you can use the device up to 2 days of battery life with normal use.
The HTC 10 available in Carbon Gray, Glacier Silver, Topaz Gold, and Camellia Red color and starts with a price tag of USD $699 (Around INR 46, 420) and will be available to purchase starting from early May.
