Gionee’s upcoming handset Gionee Elife S8 with model number GN9011 has been spotted on GFXBench and company has already scheduled an event for this device during MWC 2016 on February 22 in Barcelona Spain this handset is the successor of Gionee Elife S7 which was launched last year.
The GFXBench listing shows some specifications of the device.It has 4.6 inches Full HD (1080×1920 pixels) Display and powered by Octa-Core 1.9GHz processor built-in MediaTek MT6755 (ARM Cortex A53) chipset along with ARM Mali-T860 GPU for graphics.It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage although we have no idea about its external memory expansion via a micro SD card.
The listing also gives information about its camera , it features a 16 megapixels rear camera with LED flash, face detection, and autofocus and 8 megapixels front camera with 4K video recording but the listing doesn’t show any information about battery capacity of device while the previous rumors about Gionee Elife S8 report that it will come with a bigger battery capacity apart from that it will also feature a pressure-sensitive display that was already available in Apple iPhone 6S and Huawei Mate S premium Smartphone.
