Caterpiler S60

Caterpillar has launched its latest thermal imaging rugged smartphone which is powered by FLIR known as Cat S60 although the device is already announced back in February During MWC Event in Barcelona Spain but now the device is available for public.The main highlight of the device is a thermal camera made by FLIR (a Leading brand in thermal imaging) which integrated with this rugged phone.The thermal camera of the device can detect and visualize heat from a distance of up to 300 meters which looks quite handy for some situations.On the other hand, the device is also IP68 certified means you can also use this device for underwater photography.

Specs wise the rugged phone comes with Super bright 4.7 inches HD Display with AHVA technology and display is protected by corning gorilla glass 4.The Smartphone is Powered Octa-Core processor based on Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset.The dual SIM smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.In terms of camera, it has 13 Megapixels autofocus rear camera with dual LED Flash and FLIR Thermal Camera it also has 5 Megapixels front-facing camera for a selfie and video calling.

On the connectivity front, the device supports 2G, 3G , 4G LTE network, Bluetooth v 4.1, Micro USB 2.0, USB-OTG and supports GPS technology such as GLONASS, GPS, A-GPS, and Beidou.The Smartphone is water and dustproof and is MIL Spec 810G certified.You can use this device with wet hands along with gloves as well.

The device has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can further expandable via microSD card up to 128GB.The device measures 147.9 x 73.4 x 12.66 mm and powered by 3,800 mAh long lasting non-removable battery which supports Qualcomm Quick Charge technology.official pricing of the handset is not yet revealed.
