Finally BlackBerry Priv gets Android Marshmallow update for T-Mobile and this update has been officially announced by the T-Mobile BlackBerry support.This update will live between June 13th to June 17th for T-Mobile users and the priv handset users will receive OTA update automatically.The marshmallow update size will be 1.3GB so users required to maintain the free storage up to 1.6GB and battery life above 50% in the device it will take some time to download and install the firmware.
The new update will bring the build number AAF 153 and android 6.0.1 OS version.The T-Mobile carrier will send the notification regarding OTA update to Priv users once you gets the notification initiate the installation process but in case if you didn’t receive the update you can check by manual method by going to Settings > About Phone > Software Updates > Check for Update if the update is available there, you can download and install it or wait for the official notification.
