Samsung S6 and S6 Edge

AT&T wireless carrier has released the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update OS update for Samsung Galaxy S6 (G920A) and S6 Edge (G925A) customers.Users can update their OS software through FOTA (Firmware Over The Air).If you are using the Samsung Galaxy devices (S6 and S6 Edge) powered by AT&T then you are eligible for this new OS update.After the update, the build number of the device will be changed (for Galaxy S6 MMB29K and for S6 Edge G920AUCU3CPD6).The carrier will also update the Android security patch soon.

After updating to new OS users will find some improvement on their handsets such as enabled video call, full preload for Amazon and AT&T Mail & YP mobile moved to virtual world  and you will not find the Application keeper , AT&T Live, and FB messenger after this update and it will also improve the performance of your handset.

The software update comes in 1.5GB of large size and you will receive the software notification from AT&T and users can postpone the updates maximum 3 times and after reaching the maximum postpone limit it will automatically download and install the update on your handset and after completing the update you can see it under your setting section of device where it will show Android 6.0.1.
