I bought my Tecno Winpad 10 at one of the approved Tecno Sales outlets in Port Harcourt, Nigeria in 2015. I was so fascinated when I first saw the Winpad 10. It worked quite well. No charging problems as I always charged the PC to ensure optimum performance. Just about a week now, the Winpad 10 was used and shutdown properly. After sometime, I wanted to use the PC but has refused to come on. Initially, I thought the battery power might gone down and decided to charge it but the winpad 10 has failed to switch on. I tried to check properly whether there is a reset button on it as it is with most laptops, I could not find any. I think this is a a minus on the product. Is it deliberate? I was very surprised that the amount I was asked to pay for the reset at an approved service center in Port Harcourt, namely SLOT, is almost the same amount I paid for purchase of the Winpad 10. This is quite embarrassing. In the first place, why must TECNO Winpad 10 have such an issue of switching itself off? This is another minus on the product. I had wanted to throw away what I am having as Winpad 10 and look for another product. I have not concluded yet that this is the major issue with this TECHNO Winpad 10 but this observation and complaint should thoroughly looked into else somebody will conclude that the product is not genuine and another way of ripping Nigerians of their had earned money.
